Working with Many Payees at Once
What's actually available for handling payees in bulk, and where each thing lives
No multi-select checkboxes on the payee list
There's no way to tick a set of payees in the list and apply one action to all of them — no "select all," no bulk status change, no bulk department assignment, no bulk reminder send. Every row action (archive, restore) is one payee at a time, from that payee's own row menu. This page covers what genuinely does let you work with many payees at once instead.
Adding many payees at once: CSV import
The real way to get a large roster into Greenroom quickly is the CSV importer on the Payees list (Import CSV). It covers identity, contact info, start date, and payment method for as many payees as you want in one file — union, pay rate, bank account numbers, and documents are still set per payee afterward. Exporting many payees at once
Export CSV on the Payees list downloads exactly the list as it's currently filtered, searched, and sorted on your screen — not a selection you check off first. Narrow the list to who you want (by type, union, onboarding status, or a search term), then export; the file matches what you see. Details: Exporting Payee Data.
Chart of accounts: also bulk-importable

What's per-payee, not bulk
A few things worth knowing aren't available as a bulk action, so you don't go looking for a button that isn't there:

| Archiving | One payee at a time, from that payee's row menu (⋯ → Archive). Archived payees keep their history on past payrolls and can be restored, but can't join new runs. There's no bulk archive or bulk delete. |
| Resending an onboarding invite | Sent from that individual payee's own page — there's no "send to everyone who hasn't finished onboarding" button. |
| Payroll reminders | Greenroom does send an automatic reminder email ahead of an upcoming payroll date, but that's a system notification to your company's managers about the run itself — it isn't something you trigger per-payee or send to a group of payees. |
| Status or department changes | Made on each payee's own page. There's no screen for changing the same field across several payees in one action. |
