Filters and Search
What you can actually filter, search, and sort on the payee list and payroll history
The payee list

Bank verification, Union, and a specific Filter → Onboarding status show up as removable chips once applied (for example, Bank: Never received a payment) — click the × on a chip to drop just that filter, or Clear all (shown whenever a chip is) to drop every filter at once, including the Onboarding and Offboarded toggles. Clear all leaves your type tab and search term as they are.
The list is a table from about 1,024 pixels wide; on a narrower screen, such as a phone, it shows each payee as a stacked card with all of their details in it. The table shows the columns its own width can hold, and the table is the window less the sidebar, up to the page's limit of about 1,230 pixels. With the sidebar open:
- Name, Type, Union, Rate, and Status always, with the job title and department under the payee's name
- Job title (the department on its second line) and Login from a window of about 1,250 pixels
- Bank (bank verification, a dot per account) and Packet (the start-work packet) from about 1,410
Collapsing the sidebar brings each column in at a narrower window. Department never gets a column of its own, and Bank, Packet, and Login aren't shown in a table too narrow for their columns. Filtering and Searching Payees has the full layout.
Click the Name, Type, Union, or Rate column header to sort by that column; click again to reverse the direction. The other columns aren't sortable. Below about 1,536 pixels a Sort payees dropdown in the toolbar also offers the same four sorts (for example, Name · A–Z or Rate · High to low). Sort headers and the page arrows are ordinary links — middle-click or copy them like any other, and the address always reflects what you're looking at.
Filtered views are shareable
Everything above lives in the page's URL. Bookmark a filtered view, or copy the link and send it to a teammate — it reproduces the exact same tab, search, filters, and sort when they open it.
A login invite isn't an onboarding status
Onboarding status has four states: Complete, Review submission, Changes requested and Not started. Whether a payee has claimed a Greenroom login, or has a login invite outstanding, is a separate fact, shown in the payee list's own Login column rather than in the filters above.

Payroll history
The payroll history list (History in the sidebar) has two filters, independent of the payee ones above:

A Clear filters chip appears once either is set. There's no department, payee-type, or amount-range filter on payroll history — those apply when you're building a run, not when browsing past ones.
Reports
The Reports page isn't a filterable list — each report generator has its own pickers (a run, a union, a year, or a date range) scoped to that one report, rather than a shared filter bar.
What's not there
There's no way to save a filter combination for reuse, and no global search box that reaches across payees, payrolls, and reports at once. If you use the same filtered view often, bookmarking its URL (see above) is the closest equivalent to a saved filter today.
